St Maarten Restaurants

St. Maarten Restaurants WE Enjoy (Also some in French St. Martin)

View of the Taco Macho "restaurant" in St MaartenWe don't tend to dine "Fancy" when we travel - whether it's St. Maarten restaurants or restaurants back at home. Part of the reason is economy - we can travel more if we spend less... :) Another reason is that we find ourselves having more fun when we explore some of the lesser known or lesser advertised spots.

It's fun for us to see a little shack on the side of the road that has dozens of people going in - it's a good sign! Especially if there are a lot of locals going in.

There are plenty of restaurants in the tourist brochures that we could go to. But for every advertised restaurant in the guides are dozens of other places that you'll never find in a brochure.

So, here are a few of the St. Maarten restaurants we have REALLY enjoyed - and of course we'll add to them as we go along. We also welcome YOUR additions!
