On occasion, we receive updates from Global Resorts Network regarding price and availability comparisons on various luxury resort vacations. When we do, we will post them here for your review.

Sometimes I check the Newsletter to see what is available in "real time" and then check against Expedia to see what compares for the same area and dates (the hotels offered through GRN are not always available on Expedia). I will then report my findings here for your review! Remember that the Newsletter is only one small part of what is offered through GRN - the GRN Registry of Resorts shows many more resort options.

Date: Tuesday, June 29, 2010: Today we're looking at the Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort!

The Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort has been honored with the coveted "Gold Crown" status according to RCI! (Remember, you do NOT need to buy a timeshare in order to enjoy this resort! This is available through your vacation membership through GRN! The price on this was $398 for the week.

"Gold Crown" rated resorts are considered the highest quality and are only given to about 10% of the resorts.

This beautiful resort features 2 outdoor swimming pools, a picnic and BBQ area, 2 outdoor hot tubs, an outdoor children's pool, and exercise equipment.

You will love their spaciouw 2-bedroom suites with separate bedrooms and a private kitchen, washer & dryer, jetted tubs, full dining room, leather furniture, and, of course, televisions.

GRN only found availability through one major travel providor ... Orbitz. They were asking $1,658.70 for the exact dates and unit size being offered through our memberships.

Membership definitely has its privlieges at only $398 for the entire week (for the 2-bedroom suite!). That was a minimum savings of over $1,260.00 for this one week alone!
